Last month, my sister-in-law, Cindy and her new husband gave me the tremendous honor of asking me to photograph their wedding on the shores of Lake Martin, AL. While this was a big challenge because we've never done any photo projects with quite this level of expectation before, Kati and I had a ton of fun with this undertaking.

Cindy and Billy have been very patient with my delay in letting them (or anybody else) actually see any of the pictures that I took. The delay, though, was due to the fact that I wanted them to have the first chance to see the pictures, which they did today in a book that we mailed them.

So, at long last, HERE are the pictures from Billy & Cindy's wedding.

BUT before I post them, let me just clarify what this is. These are MY 20 favorite pictures from the wedding weekend. They're the ones that I--as the photographer--think show off what I did the best. They are NOT the pictures that I would expect Cindy or Billy to select as THEIR favorite pictures (they have the digital files and if they choose to undertake that task, we'll all get to see TOGETHER what they think). This is also not meant to be a fairly distributed documentation of everybody that was there that weekend. I certainly hope nobody's angered that they are under-represented in this slideshow . . . winding up in a good picture is largely a matter of good luck!
