Our First Full Family Vacation

We've had some TRIPS here and there. And Libby and Kati were in Alabama last summer.

But this past week in Hilton Head was the first real VACATION that all THREE of us have been on together. Great weather and good times. Many thanks to Paula and Bob for a great trip!

Oh, that's not an easy question. This album, in particular, involved several different cameras.

Mostly, I shoot on a Canon 40D. Some of the pictures in this album, though, were shot on a Canon 5D Mark II (which is really an amazing piece of equipment). Still others were shot on a Canon PowerShot. Finally, I think there's 1 or 2 in there that were shot on nothing more that an iPhone 3GS.

Wow. Wish I had the budget for that lineup of cameras. Have a Powershot. Deciding between the Canon 50D and Nikon D90 next. Always looking for input.

First of all, don't knock a PowerShot. Some of my best pictures come from my PowerShot.

I'm a Canon shooter. So I would never recommend a Nikon to anybody over a Canon.

I love my 40D. It's a great combination of features, quality, and price. As the successor to the 40D (which is no longer available), I would highly recommend the 50D even though I've never held one in my hands.
