Week 3 NFL Power Rankings

1. Cowboys
2. Steelers
3. Giants
4. Packers

With my three favorite NFL teams in the number 2, 3, & 4 positions, I'm a pretty happy camper (how cool would a Steelers/Giants Superbowl be?). If the Steelers can beat the Eagles this weekend and the Pack beats the Cowboys, everything'll be pretty alright with the world.

Didn't it used to be that the power rankings came out on Wednesdays? Sure seems like they are extra excited to publish these rankings each week this year doesn't it.

Or maybe it's me that's excited to see this ranking each week.

Congrats Ms. Abby!!

I am proud to report that my infinately talented neice Abby came in FIRST place two weeks ago in a youth triathalon.

She swam 6 laps, mountain biked 1.5 miles and ran 0.75 miles and beat all other girls in her age group. Oh- and she did it in about 20 minutes. I'm not kidding.

Go Abby!!!

(ps- I'm fairly sure I'd die if I attempted this triathalon)

Steelers Beat The Browns!

I wouldn't say it was the rousing defeat it shoulda been based on the junk offense the Browns were working.

But I guess we can thank Ike for the interesting weather (and for the hilarious commentator who thought he was a meterologist talking about 'wind shear' and the 'jet stream' in the stadium.)

A win is a win. Go Black and Gold

"Conviction" is Back

Remember that show that was on NBC a few years ago about young prosecutors in New York City? It got canceled after about 7 episodes?

It's BACK.

It's just called "Raising the Bar" now and it's on TNT.

Check it out. I wouldn't say it's GOOD, but it IS insightful. Kinda.
