Baby Girl Jung...on her way

My Second Life

For the regular twodoebs readers our there, you'll remember the posting I did some time back about Second Life, the virtual world where people are spending lots of their time and money!

Well, recently my company jumped in the mix and held a Virtual Job Fair. Clients of ours participated and we set up a process where candidates were able to register, get screened, then get invited to interviews with the clients.

It was a massive effort on our part (just ask Doebs who had to hear me blather on for ages about it- AND picked me up every super late night I worked!) but the event was a big success...so more events will be forthcoming!

This is a screen shot of the group on the second night of the event. Anyone in the black NiW T-shirts is my colleague, the rest are the recruiters from our clients who participated. I'm the blonde one over on the right. It's not the best picture of my avatar, but I think I did a decent job making a cuter version of myself!

Vacation '58

This is really cute. It's the short story that the movie "Vacation" was based on.

It's pretty similar to the movie, with just a few additional adventures for Clark W. Griswold, Jr. and his family. The ending's different.
