Flowers: Close Up

Over the weekend, Kati, Libby, Paulie, Bob, and I went to Phipps Conservatory to see their Spring Flower Show. In addition to shooting Libby (scroll down to see Libby's 9 Month Pictures, below), I also thew on my macro lens and got as close to some of the flowers as I could:

were these things in a cage? if not that's too close for my comfort. frogs ok, everything else I am freaking out just looking at the pictures.

Nothing was in a cage. The frogs, in fact, were pretty jumpy. The other animals didn't move around much, but that didn't alleviate my concern when I was trying to get just a BIT closer to the nasty ball cobra snake!
