R.I.P. Big Trout

Doebs and I are broken hearted over the closure of our favorite Friday Night spot, Big Trout. Big Trout was a cheap, "shabby" sorta place that had charm and the BEST Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches in town. (Trust us, we've researched this pretty thoroughly).

We had a favorite waiter and a regular order - and now we have nothin! Sniff sniff. Sure, a lot of the reviews yapped about the mediocre food. But to those people I would say: "This restaurant serves PBR in a can, don't come here if you are expecting gourmet food". Did they have some off nights? Sure, but hey, when you can have a thoroughly enjoyable meal with a few beers for less than $30 how can you complain.

Worst of all is the fate of Little Trout. Little Trout was the "back" of Big Trout (though it had a separate entrance from around the corner and is a sweet outdoor bar in the summer. I don't expect to see Little Trout come summer time but it would be nice to see it return!

- The car commercials featuring that ANNOYING "Saved By Zero" Jingle
- USAirways
- Credit card companies who give away JUNK if you sign up for their card
- Bathroom attendants in anything but the NICEST places
