So - I've been working with Libby on her crawling skills. Crucial to that, of course is mastering 'hands and knees'. I thought she was getting it - but verrrrrrry slowly. Then today, during what was supposed to be during nap time, I caught this on the video monitor. How long do you think until she figures out where the camera is???
Everytime Weber has a bath he simply MUST go potty after. All that warm bath water is too much for his bladder. Well after another round of snow today this is what he came in looking like after tonights post bath potty.
Anyway, at their wedding, the favor was these little bottles of wine that Mike [purportedly] bottled. The wine, however, was not yet matured, so we were invited to save the bottles and open them to toast to Mike and Jessica on their first anniversary.
We thought this was such a great idea. First of all, Kati was preggers for the wedding, so she appreciated to opportunity to finally get the chance to toast to the couple. More importantly, though, we liked the fact that it gave all the wedding guests a REASON to pay attention to their first anniversary.
So, we've patiently been keeping these bottles in the closet. We even had the occasion marked in our calendars, to make sure that we didn't miss the date tonight.
And tonight, at long-last, we opened the bottles and enjoyed the wedding wine. So here's to you, Mike and Jessica: hope you had a great year and best wishes for many more!
That is an awesome idea, and it motivates those who attended in a very natural and easy way. It's full of all sorts of good feelings.
It has a lot of potential for customer retention and getting peopel to reconnect with a brand, product, person etc. The idea the you were already provided with the means to celebrate is a great concept.
On Friday night, Kati and I hosted our second annual Olympics opening ceremony party. As the host, it was tough for me to take TOO many pictures, but I managed to snap a couple to give the feel of the party.
It was ALSO Kati's SECOND crack at her Olympics cake. Y'all can post your OWN comments on which one was better.

For the love of God! Pennsylvania's statutes concerning the sales of beer and wine are CRAZY. Crazy!
1) The law should be changed so that we can buy beer and wine in grocery and convenience stores.
2) Absent THAT, we should be able to buy quantities smaller than CASES in beer distributors. Being able to buy 6-packs in beer distributors only makes sense.
These statutes do not serve to protect Pennsylvanians. The ONLY possible motivation for these laws is to serve special interests, notably, the beer distributors and the package stores.
These laws are absurd and you should change them.
